Robert C. Alario
Robert C. Alario, CPA, MBA, CSEP is the President of Robert C. Alario, CPA, P.C. A graduate of Boston College, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and received a Masters in Business Administration from Babson College with a concentration in Finance and Taxation. Bob has earned a designation as a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP), and is a Professional Associate with Citigroup Smith Barney.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Society of Public Accountants, the Montachusett Estate Planning Council, and the Worcester Estate and Business Planning Council.

Bob has taught Accounting and Taxation at Mount Wachusett Community College and Fisher College. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for the North Central Massachusetts United Way, Fitchburg by Design, Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts, Julie Country Day School and the Fay Club and is a current board member of The North Central Massachusetts Boys and Girls Club and the St. Paul Catholic Schools Consortium. Bob has over 25 years experience in public accounting.

Bob resides in Lunenburg, Massachusetts with his wife Patricia, and their three children.



Sandra B. LaPointe
Sandra B. LaPointe, Vice-President of Trust Tax Services, joined the firm of Robert C. Alario, CPA PC in 1994. She has over thirty years of tax experience specializing in individual, fiduciary and corporate taxation. Sandy has extensive fiduciary tax experience as the manager of a bank trust tax department and currently assists local trust departments in meeting their trust compliance needs. She attended Mundelein College in Chicago, Illinois. She is current board member of the Beacon of Hope, on the auction committee of the ARC of North Central Massachusetts and a member of The Executive Women's Network, Montachusett Estate Planning Council and Worcester Estate and Business Planning Council.



Rosemary T. Kennedy
Rosemary T. Kennedy, EA, MST, CSEP, Vice President of Estate and Wealth Transfer, joined the firm of Robert C. Alario, CPA PC in 1989. Rose has a broad range of expertise in tax compliance and planning, focusing her practice in the areas of individual, trust and estate taxation. She is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS (EA), and has earned a designation as a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP). She holds a bachelors degree from Hamilton College and a Masters of Science in Taxation (MST) from Bentley College for which she graduated with high distinction. Additionally, Rose holds a Master Personal Financial Certificate from Bentley College. She currently serves as president of the Montachusett Estate Planning Council. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for collegiate schools of business, the National Association of Enrolled Agents, Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents, Worcester Estate and Business Planning Council and Executive Woman’s Network. Rose frequently presents educational seminars to the local and Boston professional communities.



Karen J. Spinelli
Karen J. Spinelli, CPA, a shareholder and Vice President of Corporate and Audit services, joined the firm of Robert C. Alario, CPA, P.C. in 1997. She oversees many of our for profit and not for profit corporate clients, meeting all levels of their tax compliance and financial needs, including corporate, LLC, and partnership tax returns, financial statements, audits, reviews and compilations. Karen has provided invaluable services to many businesses, assisting them in setting up and improving their internal accounting systems.

Karen graduated from Fitchburg State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is licensed with the state of Massachusetts as a certified public accountant. Karen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce Executive Women’s Network. Karen is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Fitchburg Art Museum.



Dianne M. Feroli
Dianne M. Feroli, staff accountant and manager of electronic filing services, began her career in public accounting in 1987 and has been with Robert C. Alario, CPA, PC since 1991. She has extensive experience in financial accounting for small businesses and corporations. Dianne works closely with her clients providing a wide range of bookkeeping and accounting services including compilation financial statements, account analysis, payroll and sales tax returns and business electronic filing and set up. As a QuickBooks consultant, she has provided invaluable service to a variety of businesses in their internal accounting set-up and refinement. Dianne's job responsibilities include preparation of corporate, partnership and individual tax returns. She has an Accounting Certificate from Bridgewater State College and Fitchburg State College.



Maria J. Crowley
Maria J. Crowley, staff accountant, joined the firm of Robert C. Alario, CPA, PC in 2004. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts in Economics with a concentration in Accounting. She specializes in tax research and compliance with estate and trust, corporate, partnership and individual taxation. She is a Quickbooks Professional Advisor and assists start-up companies with implementation of their accounting software. Maria was formerly a senior in the tax division of Arthur Andersen’s Boston office. She is a member of the Montachusett Estate Planning Council. She has also given seminars on various tax topics.


Lee Ann Nault, CPA, staff accountant, was welcomed to the firm of Robert C. Alario, CPA, PC in 2007. She has a diverse background and over twelve years combined experience in both public and private industry accounting. Her experience includes corporate and individual taxation, auditing, MRP and accounting software implementations, management of up to seven member finance team, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning. Lee Ann graduated from Fitchburg State college, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is licensed with the state of Massachusetts as a Certified Public Accountant. She also holds certifications in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.


Maria J. Crowley
Bonnie J Robinson, staff accountant, joined the firm in 2007. She holds Bachelor of Science degrees from Fitchburg State College in both Accounting and Economics. Bonnie graduated with Magna Cum Laude distinction in 2006 and received the Outstanding Accounting Student Award and the Alex Donkor Award for Excellence in Economics. She is actively working toward the CPA designation and has a strong interest in the tax and planning arenas. As a QuickBooks Professional Advisor, Bonnie enjoys assisting clients in developing and implementing accounting procedures. She has served as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of the Guild Dancers, Inc., a local non profit organization.


Maria J. Crowley
Susan Burke, administrative assistant, joined our firm in 2006, bringing with her over fifteen years of administrative experience. With her excellent computer skills and attention to detail, she overseas our accounts receivable and provides invaluable support to professional staff, managing client appointments and processing client correspondence and tax returns. Susan graduated in 1990 from Aquinas College in Newton with an Associates Degree in Executive Secretarial.
